Official membership terms and conditions
About these terms+
These Terms and Conditions govern membership in The Bigfoot Club. By purchasing a membership, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.
1. Membership and purpose+
The Bigfoot Club is a community membership program created by Boise Bigfoot Junk Removal to reward participating customers, encourage community involvement, and help neighbors experiencing hardship reclaim their space. Membership proceeds help support the program's community mission. Additional support may come from business sponsorships, voluntary contributions, and other funding sources. The program focuses on eligible individuals and families who may be unable to reasonably complete or afford needed junk removal, including veterans, seniors, widows and widowers, people with mobility limitations or disabilities, and others experiencing significant hardship. Membership does not guarantee that a particular project will be funded or completed.
2. Membership fee and term+
$50 for a 12-month membership, paid once at enrollment. The term begins on the purchase date and does not automatically renew. Members must actively purchase a new membership to continue participating. Membership fees are nonrefundable except where a refund is required by applicable law. Membership benefits are personal to the member and may not be transferred or sold unless Boise Bigfoot approves a transfer in writing.
3. The $50 junk removal credit+
As a thank-you for joining, Boise Bigfoot provides each member with a separate $50 junk removal service credit. The credit is a membership benefit, not a cash payment or cash refund. It applies to eligible junk removal services provided directly by Boise Bigfoot and must be used within 12 months of purchase, subject to service minimums, applicable fees and job-specific limitations disclosed before approval. The credit is for one eligible job unless Boise Bigfoot approves otherwise in writing. It cannot be combined with other discounts, coupons, or promotions unless expressly permitted. It has no cash value, is nontransferable, cannot be sold, and cannot be redeemed for cash. It cannot be applied retroactively to jobs completed or paid for before enrollment. Any unused balance is not paid in cash and, unless Boise Bigfoot expressly permits otherwise, cannot be applied to another job. The credit expires at the end of the membership term and is not carried forward. Boise Bigfoot will confirm the eligible scope and final price before work begins. The credit does not require Boise Bigfoot to accept unsafe work or work outside its normal capabilities.
4. Priority booking+
Members receive preferential access to available appointment opportunities. Priority booking does not guarantee a specific date or time. Availability depends on scheduling, staffing, location, weather, equipment, job size, and other operational considerations. Boise Bigfoot may reschedule or decline work for safety, operational, or service-related reasons and will communicate changes as promptly as reasonably possible.
5. Upgraded Bigfoot service+
The intended member experience includes clear communication; appointment confirmation and arrival updates when practicable; courteous, professional crew members; reasonable care for the property and work area; clear pricing and approval before work begins; and a final review of completed work when appropriate. These standards do not guarantee a particular outcome or override the agreed scope, safety requirements, or applicable service terms.
6. Neighborhood perks and special offers+
Members may receive neighborhood-based offers, seasonal promotions, or other special opportunities when available. Offers may depend on location, scheduling, route efficiency, job size, or stated eligibility requirements. Unless an offer says otherwise, it is limited to its promotional period, cannot be combined with other promotions, and is subject to scheduling and service availability. Membership does not guarantee a specific discount or promotion.
7. Member nominations for community assistance+
Members may nominate individuals or families they believe could benefit from assistance. Nominations should be honest and made in good faith, with enough information to help evaluate the request. By submitting a nomination, the member confirms they have permission or another lawful basis to share any contact information provided. A nomination does not guarantee selection, funding, or completion. Boise Bigfoot may also accept nominations from community partners, nonmembers, and people seeking assistance for themselves. Membership is not required to be considered.
8. Community assistance eligibility and approval+
Requests may be reviewed based on the nominee's circumstances and level of need; urgency and suitability of the work; safety; available funding and resources; estimated cost and community benefit; and whether the work falls within the program's capabilities. Boise Bigfoot may request information reasonably necessary to evaluate a request. Avoid submitting sensitive medical or personal records unless specifically requested through an appropriate process. Requests may be declined or deferred if they do not meet eligibility criteria, funding is unavailable, work is unsafe, or services are outside the program's scope. No project will be promised or scheduled as a funded community cleanout until it has been approved and sufficient funding has been committed.
9. Scope of community cleanout services+
Each approved project will have a defined scope established before work begins. The program generally focuses on agreed-upon junk removal, such as furniture, appliances, household clutter, garage or shed contents, and other removable items Boise Bigfoot is equipped to handle. Unless specifically approved and appropriately arranged, assistance excludes routine housecleaning, ongoing housekeeping, repairs, remodeling, construction, professional organizing or restoration, hazardous waste or biohazard remediation beyond company capabilities, specialized hoarding remediation requiring qualified professionals, specialized handling of valuable items, and unapproved work. The recipient or an authorized representative must identify items to be removed and approve removal before work begins. Boise Bigfoot will not knowingly remove belongings without appropriate authorization. If unexpected conditions arise, work may pause until scope, safety, and funding are reviewed.
10. Community assistance funding+
The Bigfoot Community Cleanout Fund is intended to support approved projects for eligible recipients. Funding may come from membership proceeds, business sponsorships, voluntary contributions, or other sources identified by Boise Bigfoot. Membership helps support the mission but does not promise that the entire $50 fee will be allocated directly to one recipient or project. The separate $50 member credit is provided by Boise Bigfoot as a membership benefit. The program does not guarantee a specific number of projects, amount of assistance, or completion date. Before an approved project begins, its scope and funding must be established. Boise Bigfoot may document the service at its established rates and receive payment from applicable program funds or sponsors. Unless approved project terms expressly state otherwise, the recipient will not be charged for the approved scope. Additional work requires separate authorization and funding approval.
11. Privacy, consent, and community stories+
Information provided through membership, nominations, and assistance requests will be handled with reasonable care and used for program administration, eligibility review, communication, and other legitimate purposes. Boise Bigfoot will not intentionally publish a recipient's name, personal story, photographs, or identifying details as a condition of receiving assistance. Appropriate permission is required before publicly using identifying information, photographs, or personal stories. General program statistics may be shared while taking reasonable steps to protect recipient privacy. Members should not publicly disclose another person's circumstances without permission.
12. Membership fees and charitable contributions+
The $50 membership fee is payment for participation in The Bigfoot Club and its benefits. Membership fees are not represented as charitable donations or tax-deductible contributions. Membership does not make a member a donor to a tax-exempt charitable organization. Any separate sponsorship or voluntary contribution will be described according to the actual legal and financial structure through which it is received. Boise Bigfoot will not represent a payment as tax-deductible unless applicable legal requirements are met.
13. Member responsibilities+
Members agree to provide accurate information; use benefits honestly and in accordance with these terms; treat employees, contractors, and customers respectfully; provide accurate nomination information; obtain appropriate permission before sharing another person's private information; and follow applicable safety instructions and service requirements. Boise Bigfoot may suspend or terminate a membership for material misuse, fraud, abusive conduct, or material violation of these terms, subject to applicable law. Any effect on unused credits will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances. Boise Bigfoot will not use termination provisions to avoid a refund or other obligation required by law.
14. Changes to benefits and program+
Boise Bigfoot may update future promotions, neighborhood offers, scheduling practices, and community program procedures as circumstances change. We will not intentionally eliminate a material benefit already purchased without appropriate notice or addressing member rights under applicable law. Changes will be posted or communicated as appropriate. The version in effect at purchase will govern the original membership to the extent required by law.
15. Limitation of services+
Membership does not replace the separate service agreement or job approval used for individual junk removal projects. Services remain subject to the agreed scope, price, safety requirements, access conditions, and other applicable service terms. Nothing in these terms waives rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived or excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.
16. Governing law+
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any valid agreement governing the specific transaction.
17. Contact and questions+
For membership, service credit, or community assistance questions, contact Boise Bigfoot Junk Removal through its official website or established business contact channels. Before enrolling, members should review the price, term, credit restrictions, and these terms carefully.
